Wednesday evenings, October 20 – December 8, 2010
7:00 to 8:45 p.m., 513 Parnassus Avenue
No other specialty in medicine gets more publicity and less understanding than plastic surgery. There is a great deal more to plastic surgery than just cosmetic procedures: reconstruction involving every part of the body, microsurgery, wound care, and research into transplantation and stem cell biology. In this course, the outstanding faculty of the UCSF Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery will present a review of the full breadth of plastic surgery pursuits, from face lifts to breast reconstruction to the latest in stem cell research.
Course Chair: William Hoffman, MD
Professor of Surgery; Chief, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery;
Director, Plastic Surgery Residency Program

I am unable to attend the plastic surgery series (specifically interested in the Oct. 20 lecture)–so am wondering when it will be available through your online recorded video?
Thank you,
Rachel Katz
Thanks for your interest in this course. The lecture should be available 3 months after the completion of the course.
